Help Restore Nature at Confluence Park

Confluence Park is a place where paths, water, and communities come together. It sits at the meeting point of the North and South Forks of Peachtree Creek—the two major tributaries that join to form Peachtree Creek, which supplies approximately 65% of Atlanta’s drinking water.

But this important place has been heavily shaped by the city around it. The park sits beneath major highways, and decades of construction and disturbance have left behind compacted, rocky soil and an ecosystem dominated by invasive species. Restoring native habitat here is more than beautifying a park—it’s an investment in the health of the creek and the watershed that sustains our city.

Confluence Park will also become a critical connection point for PATH400, the Peachtree Creek Greenway, the Atlanta BeltLine, and the South Fork trail system, creating new opportunities for people to reach and experience nature in the heart of an urban landscape.
