Join Ranger Jonah for a nature adventure designed for ages 3-8, but up to age 15 are welcome. Through the forests of Mason Mill, climb on rocks, look for critters under logs, and splash in the creek. The walk is at least 1 mile, so be prepared to help your child if he/she needs it. Expect to get dirty and wet, so wear clothes and shoes that are appropriate for the activity and weather. Bring water bottles, snacks, and a change of clothes. Our trails and route are not good for strollers. This program follows a combination of single-track dirt trails and durable surfaces (concrete & boardwalk) and is not accessible for chair users or strollers. The dirt trails are less than 3 feet wide and have roots and rocks. Consider bringing hiking poles if your balance requires them. Questions if this program will work for your mobility?
