Rivers Alive Annual Waterway Cleanup

The City of Clarkston will host Georgia’s Annual Volunteer Waterway Cleanup on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:00 AM at Friendship Forest Wildlife Sanctuary (4380 E. Ponce de Leon Ave.).

Community members of all ages are invited to volunteer in support of local waterway preservation efforts. FREE T-Shirts and Refreshements Will be Provided For Volunteers, and safety supplies will be provided.

• All ages are welcome. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Orange safety vests, gloves, safety and first aid supplies will be supplied.

• Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. You can bring your own boots or waders if you have them. A few number of rubber boots will be provided.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please RSVP and complete the waiver form by March 14, 2026. 

In the event of inclement weather, the cleanup will be rescheduled for March 28, 2026.
