South Fork Conservancy

South Fork Conservancy defines a sponsor as a business or a company that supports Creek Rising. Because of the generous financial support of valued partners like you, we have built miles of beautiful nature trails, restored habitat, and spurred the construction of four public parks.

Over the last 16 years, SFC has built critical neighborhood support and recruited more than 2,000 donors and volunteers. Our volunteers have removed much of the non-native vegetation, such as English ivy, kudzu, and privet, that choked native plants and hid the creek from view. With the help of Trees Atlanta, garden clubs, and individual volunteers, we have planted more than 1,500 trees and native pollinator plants along the South Fork Creek. In 2021 we celebrated opening the Confluence Bridge, which connects two of our trails together, as well as to a network of other trails in the region.
