South Fork Conservancy is joining forces with the City of Tucker and Friends of Tucker Parks to host a Forest Walk at Montreal Park to find plants, animals, and organisms in our environment. We will walk through the forest and observe nature within view, focusing on the forest floor looking for spring blooms, fungi, and maybe see some tiny critters! A certified naturalist will join us to unfold how the forest floor impacts the health of the ecosystem. We will document our observations through photos and share them to the iNaturalist app for others to learn from our observations.
Can’t make the Forest Walk? You can participate in the City Nature Challenge from anywhere! Here’s how. The Atlanta City Nature Challenge is hosted locally by Fernbank Museum.
