Old Growth Forest Birding at Deepdene Park

Join Birds Georgia for an early morning bird walk through one of Atlanta's most special forests in the Olmsted Linear Park - Deepdene. Registration includes access to all sessions.

Here you will encounter champion trees and hope the birds haven't finished munching all the spicebush fruit as we look for migrant thrushes, warblers, and resident birds.

This walk will be about an hour, and you are welcome to stay for a volunteer workday removing overabundant plant species with Olmsted Linear Park Alliance or hang around for the Chirp and Chalk event starting at 10 AM!
