Friends of Ira B Melton Park are hosting a planting day on April 12th. 

Join us and install some beautiful native trees and shrubs near the trailhead thanks to Park Pride, Awaken Landscape Designs, CHCA, MANA, and the South Fork Conservancy.   We need plenty of willing hands. Please bring your own drinking water, work gloves, and shovels, if you have them. We’ll plant in light rain or (hopefully) sunshine.

Ira B Melton Park (aka Mason Mill Park extension) is located on Desmond Drive across from Park Lane in North Decatur;
